的 gathering and alteration of these materials, 无论是自然的还是人为的-体现了对地方的好奇心-展望过去和未来, my relationship with these sentiments.
Although the cause of this phenomenon has never been attributed to one thing, researchers have noted mechanical devices, 耳鸣, or wildlife as a potential culprit. 的 title also attempts to speak to a personal observation of nowness. This place has always been an inspiring source throughout my career. 目前, the ethos of the property is changing, which carries with it immense privilege, 责任, 和复杂性. This exhibition asks if the objects of a place become embedded within its history. How can sculpture be used to re-form the physical reality of objects, altering their identity to conjure a new relationship to space? 的 items utilized are markers of time in relation to my home in distinct ways. 这在概念上与上面提到的嗡嗡声的一些可能的解释有关-来自军用低频无线电波的音调, or the illuminating mating call of the Plainfin Midshipman fish. 的 Hum is the sound or essence of this embedded history.
Through these experiments utilizing design and architectural folly, the vibration is shaped into a new tone or form. 在这些神秘事件的背景下,对个人历史的探索以这种方式延伸到观众面前……. challenging how our bodies and thoughts navigate through space.
的 Hum is a sound, a feeling, a question all at once. This body of work reflects on internal and external ideas about how 家庭, 机构, wonder unite with these concepts.

“Culling through thousands of individual photographs and videos I make of architecture and landscaping; I digitally assemble these sources to create my work. 我一直着迷于摄影作为存在证据的能力——创造看似真实的图像——同时, a system to mediate and construct reality. 我用摄影来观察,然后将我的照片以数字方式组合起来,构建不存在的空间, allowing the creation of images that, 通过隐喻和幻觉, reveal both the desire and simulacrum present around us and within photography itself.”

RESCHEDULED Opening Reception 1月. 27, 6 - 8 p.m.
这六位艺术家包括现任(Moath Al Alwi和Ahmed Rabbani)和前任(Muhammad Ansi), Abdualmalik(阿拉伯语)Abud, Sabri Al Qurashi, Mansoor Adayfi)被拘留者, none of whom have been charged with committing a crime.
A stamp reading "Approved by US Forces" signals that a work has been cleared, the stamp's ink often bleeds through to the image on the other side, creating a ghostly mix of art and authority.
正如前囚犯曼苏尔·阿达菲(Mansoor Adayfi)在他的《纽约时报》(New York Times)文章《网上十大网赌娱乐大全》中所解释的那样," the sea "means freedom that no one can control or own, 人人享有自由." Although detainees were held close to the sea, tarps blocked their view until they were removed for four days in 2014 in anticipation of a hurricane; after that, Adayfi回忆, "all of those who could draw made drawings about the sea."
